I would like to recommend Barbara Pritchett as a candidate for the position of Chef. In her position as Executive Chef at Big River Lodge, Barbara was employed with us from September 1, 2004 to October 15, 2007. Barbara did an excellent job in this position and was an asset to our Lodge during her time with us. She was extremely organized, reliable and her commitment ensured that the job got done and done well. The meals she prepared for our guests were not only delicious but were beautifully presented. She was always able to improvise when our guests were late to meals or had dietary restrictions or allergies. Even when improvising the quality of the food never varied.

During her tenure at Big River Lodge, Barbara was responsible for three meals a day for all of our guests, supervising all kitchen staff and managing the kitchen budget. She effectively managed and scheduled several kitchen employees to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Barbara was always willing to offer her assistance and had an excellent rapport with our guests. Unfortunately, we are no longer in need of Barbara’s services as the Lodge has closed down for good. She will be missed and would be an asset to any employer. I recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue.
